Seminar: Is there sustainable business models for Journalism? (update: presentations available)

IS THERE really A SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS MODEL FOR JOURNALISM ON THE NET? Welcome to our international SuBmoJour seminar in Helsinki on May 10, 2012 at the Päivälehti Museum (Ludviginkatu 2–4).

Opening: Professor Risto Kunelius, University of Tampere
Keynote: Web 2.0 as an environment for old and emerging business of journalism
Professor Joseph Turow, Annenberg School for Communication at University of Pennsylvania

13.00 – 15 Second session
Introduction of the SuBmoJour- project:
– what we have done
– presentation of the database

Results are presented by a panel of researchers: Mikihito Tanaka (Japan), Pekka Pekkala (USA), Clare Cook & Johanna Vehkoo (UK), Nicola Bruno (France, Italy), Esa Sirkkunen (Finland)
